Well, Hello There! Long time NO Post!

There are a thousand reasons that I haven't posted...none of them are reason enough to neglect part of me, my business and my amazing clients.   So to catch up (total understatement) I will simply post a few of my faves from the past months.

These are just a few from a  few sessions.   There is no way that I could post photos from all sessions.

There has been a few wonderful things happening with Diamond Photography in 2010.   I have been in my new studio since May.  It is in my home and the best part about it that I have storage and a lot more space!

I have gotten to meet some amazing couples and families that I have truly enjoyed working with.
Invitations by Diamond is growing.  I have done numerous party invitations and thank you cards.  I am still waiting to do Wedding Initiations.

The Diamond Photography team is growing!  I have a few key people that are helping me keep up with everything.    Hopefully soon I will need a few more people! :0)

I also want to thank all my fabulous clients friends past, present and future (and may be a little help from my amazing hubs) for making full time photography possible.   Not only do I have more time for my passion, I also get to spend so much more time with my little girl.

A little of me, to you!

So the Easter Bunny that visited the Adams' house didn't do very good.    :(   Hopefully next year the Bunny is a bit more prepared!    Other then that the lack luster basket that Bralynne had to hunt, we got to see a lot of family.   So here are a few things that made my last week great:

A 3 day work week.
Family...lots and lots of family
Bralynne's excited face while dying, hunting and eating eggs!
Jon working so hard to do so good.
Indiana State Policeman Bradley Miller and his baby blues for only giving me a warning and not a speeding ticket!
Family photos!  I didn't shoot them, I was in them!  I can't wait to see them...Thanks Joni
Ricky Bobby and being "all hyped up on Mt. Dew!"

A lot more to edit and a ton more to blog about.   Slowly but Surely!    Here are a few tasty treats to keep you up to speed!

Hoppy Easter!

Some Love & No Love goes to....

Love goes out to A clean car...ish! 30 minutes and 2 trash bags later all the trash is out! Don't get me wrong, the non trash is still stacked up! A car that should seat five will seat 2 plus a car seat...that all. I still have some work to do!
Jennifer and Josh! I am very excited about the up coming shoot! Pictures will be posted later this month.
Meeting Photographers. I love what I do. I love getting to talk to other photographers about...everything!
MY NEW HOUSE!!!! Well kinda, we still have to close, but in 30 short days it all ours!
As also, My family! Days off with Bralynne are wonderful and having a husband that is working so hard to provide for us is amazing! Thanks Jon, I am so proud of you.
Of course, I will throw in my newest obsession...the Twilight trilogy. Ok, I know I'm not 16 again, but go team Jacob!

No Love goes to No nap...Gosh I love my girl, but GO TO SLEEP ALREADY!
Closing, why does this process take so stinkin' long! I just want my house already!
Packing and moving. I am already dreading it. I am accepting applications. A free session for a day of packing, moving and unpacking...any takers?

And because a picture is worth a thousand words:

This is the sweetest face ever!

TGIF!

Operation Flamingo

Luck, Choice and Blessings

Luck is finding a $5.00 dollar bill in your pocket. Running into an old friend on a bad day. Finding the PERFECT sweater on sale. Hitting every green light on your way to work.

Choice is reacting to what happens. What you do…because you can. Your friends, enemies and all the people in between. What you do today, tomorrow and the next day.

Blessings are the things that you can’t help or change. Family, who you love and your talents.
One of my biggest blessings in life is my dad. I have always seen my dad as more then a parent. I have been blessed to have an understanding, loving and fun father. I hope that someday my daughter will grow up and look up to me in the same way that I look up to him. In honor of a very big day in his life…Operation Flamingo!
Saturday started off like many other days. I woke up and played with Bralynne, did some laundry, cooked and cleaned. After Bralynne went to bed for the night, Operation Flamingo commenced! I tucked her in and kissed Jon bye and drove to the booming metropolis of Mt. Vernon to wait for my partner in crime to get home from work. At which time it took 2.5 hours to put 140 legs on 70 pink flamingos. Then at 2:30am, protected by the darkness of night we put 70 flamingo’s and a Giant Monkey in his yard!

To spread some of the fun…
There was a near miss fire in the bathroom while lighting the 70 candles!
To Add insult to injury...a welding mask to protect her face from the flames! It only took him like 7 tries to blow out all the candles.
I love you dad!  I hope that you had a wonderful day!   Just try and guess what we are going to do for your 18th birthday!  :)
His actual birthday is Febuary 29th, a leap year baby.

A little of me, to you!

The days are flying by, I can barely keep up.  I have the ball rolling for an awesome prank this weekend. If you know my dad...mention nothing of a prank!  I will post photos from that next week!  I am very excited.   The said prank is rentable, so others can enjoy the awesomeness!

In the wonderful world of photography, I have been pretty busy.  I was able to get a table at Super Bride Sunday!   Though I didn’t know of any photographers to that would have a camera…so I don’t have any pictures of my amazing table.   I want to thank Kendra and Ava for spending their day helping me out.  Because of this event, my Wedding Season is going to be very busy!

Since I haven’t posted anything in so long, here are some photos of some recent…and not so recent…beautiful people that I have had the pleasure of working with!

I love what I do.  I am so blessed with opportunity to get to do this.  I am grateful to my wonderful family that makes it possible!

Happy Friday!

44 in 365

So, this should have been posted weeks ago, but…it wasn’t and I am ok with that. 2009 was amazing. A great year. A year to remember. I am thankful for my family, friends and clients that helped me to make 2009 so memorable. I know that 2010 is going to blow it out of the water. There are many reasons that I know this. I am revamping my style and really shooting the way that I want to shoot. I am going to work on my Branding and really become the photographer that I want to be, that I am.

There are many things that I would like to do and change. I thought that if I posted it on here I might feel more accountable and actually do some of these things. I also wanted to keep it real and not list 50 things that I really had no intention of doing. So here is my 44 in 365! As I do and complete things listed below, I will update and post images if they apply.

Something New!

These are a few of my Favorite things...and not so Favorite!

Love goes out to the wonderful Holiday Season. Especially to 105.3 for playing all Christmas all the time.
Being creatively inspired! Stay tuned for some wonderful changes in 2010 and you will know what I mean.
Friends, Family and Faith. We all hit rocky roads at times and it is wonderful that we can be there for one another. Giant Props to my Hubby for being so great to some loved ones. I see you in a whole new light!
Family time! My family had a wonderful weekend...with out a camera...how the heck does that happen?!?!?!? A few days in Nashville, TN will do a family some good :)
Seeing my dog after a day of being gone. Nothing like some puppy kisses!

No Love goes to delayed shipping! What the Heck is that all about? When a business is based on printing and sending orders...they should be able to print and send orders!
Traffic...boo! An hour to travel a mile, really? Good thing Jon was driving, I would have gotten some crazy bad road rage and ripped the steering wheel off!
Terrible 2's! OK, don't get me wrong, my kid is PERFECT! But every now and then this wave of screaming and falling to the ground falls over her and I am at a loss. It only lasts a moment and then it is over as quickly as it started.

And a photo for flavor! The joys of Christmas photos. I do have at admit that my lovely daughter is the only kid that lost it every time I tried to take Christmas pictures of her. And she is the only kid that cried when she saw Santa!

Have a Wonderful CHRISTmas and enjoy your days!

XO,

Terri
